Interviews with the characters we all love with a little help from the authors that wrote them.
In this case some Military Fantasy from AJ Calvin
Name (and title if appropriate):
Owen Greenwaters. Formally, it’s Ser Owen Greenwaters. I’m a knight, but I’m not particularly fond of titles, so Owen will suffice.

Serpentus, but I also make a brief cameo in War of the Nameless.
In no more than 5 words explain your ambitions:
Currently, to survive.
Favourite place and why?
Anywhere that isn’t a gods-damned cavern. I’ve spent entirely too much time in caverns of late. No more.
I prefer my war hammers. They’re versatile and deadly, and I can wreak havoc from horseback as well as on foot.
When Tess punched Cam in the jaw for being an obnoxious ass. I think that may have been the moment I started to fall for her. And Cam deserved it too.
At the beginning of my tale, it’s a nameless, formless threat from the Wasted Land. The Shadow Council was stirring up trouble, or so the rumors led us to believe. The true enemy… Let’s just say mere mortals don’t stand much of a chance when faced with them.
I was raised in the Crystal Isles region of Balotica. My father was a blacksmith.
How does a commoner become a knight, you ask? By joining the city guard as a teen, then entering the annual melee and winning my place as a squire. The path that led me to join the guard was a dark one, and I’m not keen on sharing the details with strangers.
But my earlier years? Those were good, as I recall. I’m not exactly young any more, and memories are fleeting.
Likely farther away from the front lines of this damned war, possibly with a family to look after. As it stands, I’m in the thick of it with no one at home to mourn my fate should I fall.
Since we’re in polite company, I’ll keep the choicest words to myself, struggle though it is. She made my life hell. I’m not pleased.
My people’s story isn’t a happy one, though I believe it should be told. Thank you for your interest and for helping us preserve our dark history.
